Lake Naivasha is the only freshwater lake within Africa’s Great Rift Valley. In addition to being one of Kenya’s popular destinations, it is strategically placed close to surrounding National Parks and wildlife sanctuaries. 100kms from Nairobi, Lake Naivasha is just over an hour’s drive on tarmac roads or 45 minutes by air to the Lake Naivasha airstrip. If you love birds, then this is the place to be, packed with an array of exotic birdlife. The lake region is host to distinctive herds of plains game and the elusive black faced Colobus monkey.
